Health Services

During the COVID Response NAIT Health Services remains open at all locations. If you have COVID 19 symptoms including fever, cough, or difficulty breathing, if you’ve travelled outside of Canada, or if you’ve come in contact with someone who is suspected or confirmed to have COVID 19 please do not come into Health Services or onto NAIT campus. If you have symptoms you are instructed to call 811 for further direction.

Complete a NAIT Health and Safety incident report if you have symptoms of or test positive for COVID-19 and have been on campus/WIL placement. When completing an incident report please use Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader, save as a pdf and send to healthservices@nait.ca. Learn more about what to do if you are sick.

Health Services is a team of healthcare professionals and support staff that strive to provide friendly, accessible services to the NAIT community. Our goal is to provide excellence in care and to promote a safe, healthy learning and working environment.

We offer a variety of services to all students and staff. In the event of illness or injury, nurses are available to provide assessment and care. We can also help you find community resources, such as walk-in medical clinics, public health centres, hospitals, family doctors accepting new patients and a variety of other community services.

Service are available at all 3 campuses and include the following:

  • First aid and on-campus nurse services
  • Immunization record review for health students
  • Blood pressure checks
  • Equipment loan (crutches, wheelchairs, etc.)
  • Hearing and vision screening
  • Community resources
