Conflict resolution is a formal or informal process where two (or more) parties come together to identify an issue and create a plan of action for an effective solution. Resolution takes place by breaking down the issue, understanding the human elements involved in it, and communicating effectively.
In the Conflict Resolution Program, you will:
- learn the 5 conflict styles
- use techniques for engaging in methodical responses to conflict
- discover and develop your own personal communication style
- refine your ability to manage your reactions to criticism
Classes are a combination of traditional study, class discussion, group work and practical application to provide both theoretical and hands-on experience.
