The world is rapidly becoming an accessible knowledge marketplace. Global networks capable of carrying voice, data, graphics and interactive video are a reality. The economic viability of some local and international business is inextricably dependent upon this technology.
This program will provide competent graduates with advanced skills in analyzing, planning, designing, optimizing, maintaining, implementing and administering computer networks. Emphasis will be placed upon practical skills and state-of-the-art implementations to ensure immediate applicability to industry requirements.
Note: The first year of this program includes a heavy electronic component.
