Course Overview
Successfully use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software in a professional setting. Graduates of this course will be able to manipulate and apply spatial data in GIS software.
Gain the introductory skills needed to create professional-quality GIS projects. You will also be able to use GIS data sources and data models, apply problem-solving applications of GIS, and identify GIS software available today. This entry-level course offers the theoretical foundation and practical hands-on activities required to apply the principles and uses of GIS.
It is recommended that you complete CCTO101 Windows Desktop Operating System before enrolling in this course, or have completed equivalent courses or have practical experience.
