Course Overview

Capture data from various sources and “clean it” for data analysis purposes in Excel. Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to use Microsoft Excel tools to manipulate and cleanse massive volumes of data.

Graduates of this course will be able to work with a variety of data sources including .txt, .csv, and Excel sheets, apply merging datasets, and filter, combine, and mash-up data using Power Query Language “M”. Using Excel’s Add-in feature PowerPivot, you will be able to apply your knowledge of working with Pivot Tables. With the skills gained in this course, you will be able to work with large volumes of data beyond the normal limits of Excel, combine data from multiple sources, and use DAX formulas and KPIs.

It is recommended that you complete Microsoft Excel Levels 1, 2, and 3 or equivalent prior to enrolling in this course.
