Course Overview

As a foundation drill rig operator, you must maintain your equipment. Discover the fundamentals of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as scheduled and emerging maintenance requirements for a foundation drill rig. Dive into oil degradation, contamination, and oxidation. Interpret gauges and warning systems that are related to the mechanical and electrical system in simple scenarios.

With the skills that you gain in this course, you will be able to describe preventative maintenance procedures for your equipment.
