Course Overview

This course is a combination of theory in the form of lectures with a focus on practical application during shop time. You will gain a foundation in safety, terminology, use of hand tools and power tools typically needed for Industrial Mechanic tradespeople. The subjects covered are intended to give the learner a fundamental knowledge of the trade. Students who successfully complete the course will receive a wallet card certificate that will help them gain employment in the trade and begin their apprenticeship.
