Course Overview
This 2-to-6-week course is tailored for students who aim to enhance their social and life skills while gaining insight into Canadian culture. Students will be immersed in informal communication within the Canadian socio-cultural backdrop. Through a comprehensive curriculum with engaging field trips around Edmonton and Alberta, participants will have the opportunity to communicate with Canadian native speakers and other non-native speakers to cultivate their oral proficiency and fluency. The course also emphasizes the utilization of appropriate speaking conventions and conversation strategies within a Canadian context, promoting ethical and impactful communication.
