Course Overview

Navigating difficult conversations without the proper tact or care can lead to conflict, detrimental passivity, and more. Upon successful completion of this course, you will have developed communication skills to deal with disagreement, misunderstanding, and giving and receiving feedback. Discover different types of conflict, how to manage one’s own emotions under stress, and how to respond productively. With the knowledge gained in this course, you’ll be able to use strategies for managing a variety of difficult conversations in the workplace and beyond.

  • Work Placement: Where: In-person meetings. When: Work is scheduled at a specific time for students to attend. Onsite work integrated learning. Location at a worksite.
