Jodi Manz-Henezi is the Program Chair for the credentialed Disaster and Emergency Management diploma program at NAIT. Additionally, Jodi is a very active board member with the Canadian Risk and Hazards Network (CRHNet), and co-chairs the Partnership and Professional Development, Emerging Professionals, and Awards committees. Jodi was a contributor and co-facilitator for the Disaster Risk Reduction Roundtable with Public Safety Canada, a member of the national Canadian EM Core Competency working group, and a peer reviewer for Canada’s National Risk Profile.
Jodi heralds from a background in leadership, healthcare and humanitarian response, and is most passionate about furthering people’s knowledge and action for disaster risk reduction, pre-disaster recovery planning, and resiliency building across Canada. Jodi holds a Bachelor of Science (Ecology) and a Bachelor of Arts (Classical Studies) from the University of Calgary, and a Masters in Disaster and Emergency Management from Royal Roads University.
