Gasfitter Apprenticeship

Gasfitters install, repair, maintain and inspect gas-fired equipment ranging from residential furnaces to industrial boilers. Their work can take place indoors, underground, or outside, all year round.  

Gasfitting plays a key role in keeping our homes comfortable and our economy moving. Federal government projections show a moderate risk of a labour shortage for gasfitters between now and 2033, which could mean an abundance of career opportunities for qualified gasfitters. 

NAIT operates the largest pipe trades training facility in Alberta, which is carefully designed to recreate real-world working conditions. Your technical training will be delivered by our experienced teachers who are dedicated to your success.
