Course Overview
Immerse yourself in a hands-on, 36-hour course where you'll design and prepare to craft your own table prototype. Delve into client preferences and translate them into tangible designs. Practice sketching, designing, and creating furniture models while learning theoretical concepts and the visual language of design. Conceptualize, draft, and prepare for the construction phase of a customized table.
With the skills gained in this course, you will be able to build and design a prototype/model of a side or end table.
It is required that you complete CABM145, before enrolling in this course; however, students in the Cabinet-Making, Carpentry, and Millwork Apprenticeship Program may be able to bypass the CABM145 prerequisite with approval from the program area.
