Course Overview

Begin your investigation into the ever-evolving world of visual media. Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to create digital images using visual design.

Visual design improves the look and feel of a site and its related components by strategically implementing images, colours, fonts, and other elements. Graduates of this course will be able to describe traditional and modern methods of developing and designing visual media, the techniques that are used, and what leading-edge designers are doing to stay ahead of the curve. You will also be able to describe methods of displaying digital documents, how to implement methods to maximize user attention, and describe current trends and techniques in use today.

Prior to enrollment in this course it is recommended that you complete CCTD110, Adobe Photoshop Level I, or CCTD115, Adobe Illustrator Level I, or have equivalent experience.
