Course Overview

Work towards your machine shop certification, and manufacture internal and external threads on a lathe. Explore calculations and theory required for the manual machining of metric, Unified-National, American, and Acme threads. Enjoy hands-on experience cutting internal and external threads on a lathe while using thread formulae.

With the skills gained in this course, you will be able to inspect, distinguish, and implement the manufacturing of common screw-threads.
