Digital Design

The Digital Design program allows you to explore the intersection of visual design, user experience/user interface (UX/UI) design, and web development. Through a blend of theory and hands-on practical experience, you will learn to conceptualize, create and deploy user-centric design projects that engage and resonate with modern audiences.  

The Visual Communication Design concentration focuses on the intricacies of visual identity and advertising design. You will explore the power of colour and illustration as vibrant tools of communication. You will develop a strong foundation in design principles, digital tools and creative problem-solving techniques. You will learn to craft compelling visual content through courses in typography, visual identity design and digital illustration. The program emphasizes practical skills in designing for web, print and multimedia platforms, including accessible and responsive web design, equipping you with the expertise to create striking and user-centered designs for a variety of industries.  

Graduates of this program are well-prepared for careers in technology, marketing and communications fields or other agencies. Typical roles include UX/UI designer, visual designer, content strategist and web developer. With artistic and story-telling skills, you will master the design of engaging experiences, combining creativity and technical expertise to thrive in today’s digital world.
