About the Program
The Bachelor of Technology in Technology Management (BTech-TM) degree is bridging the increasing gap between the diploma entry-level technologist and management. The reason for its development is in direct response to demand from industry for leading-edge technologists who have the technical theory, innovative skills, and ethical and social awareness required for sustainable industry, and for critical thinking practitioners who are able to address technological challenges in today's economy.
The program employs the same system of periodic reviews and surveys to ensure value and relevance to our graduates and their employers.
This program has a number of full-time and part-time options to meet the degree requirements. Student(s) must maintain an overall GPA of 2.0 or better throughout Year 3 and 4 of the degree, and successfully complete their capstone project in order to meet all degree requirements for graduation. This program includes a final Capstone project, to complete the Capstone course, students must enroll, over two consecutive semesters (Part 1 and Part 2). Due to the BTech program’s current structure (Capstone course starts in the Fall and Winter term, international students who start the program in the Winter term may finish their program early (within the 2 year term), or late (1 additional semester over and above the 2 year study plan). International students enrolled part-time in the Spring term, in the Capstone course should indicate the above-stated reason in their Post-Graduation Work Permit application, and insert a link to this webpage.
