CNC Machinist Certificate
The CNC Machinist certificate provides skills and knowledge in conventional machine operations on drill presses, lathes, milling machines and various grinding machines, including extensive training in Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programming, setup and operation, introductory CAD/CAM training and introductory inspection and quality control training.
Students who maintain a specified level of marks will be allowed to challenge the first year apprenticeship exam for the Machinist program.

CNC machinists work in machine shops as programmers and operators of conventional and CNC machine shop equipment, in quality control or technical sales of machine shop equipment and supplies, and as apprentices in the machinist or millwright trades.
