This program will train you to erect structural steel components, and install ornamental and other structural metalwork. There are 4 branches in the ironworker trade: ironworker, ironworker – metal building systems erector, ironworker – reinforcing, and ironworker – structural/ornamental.

Most ironworkers are employed by construction contractors, but some are employed in industries such as metal fabricating, oil and gas production, iron and steel production, electric utilities and rail transport.
