About the program

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technologists work with physicians, nurses and other medical professionals to provide accurate diagnostic images using non-invasive technology. MRI technologists operate advanced medical equipment that employs strong magnetic fields and radio waves to capture detailed images of the body without using harmful radiation.

NAIT’s Magnetic Resonance Imaging, 2nd Discipline program offers healthcare professionals in diagnostic, therapeutic and medical imaging fields unique opportunities to enhance their skills and unlock new career paths. Designed for flexibility, our part-time, online program allows you to balance work, study and life while gaining hands-on experience through state-of-the-art MRI simulation software and a 15-week clinical placement to help you take your career to the next level.
