Many students choose the flexibility of part-time learning to meet their educational goals. A wide range of career-enhancing certificates, diplomas, and professional development programs can be earned through Continuing Education.
NAIT is Canada's leading apprenticeship trainer. More than half of all apprentices in Alberta, and 17% in all of Canada, are trained here. We offer apprenticeship training in 34 trades on campuses throughout Alberta.
A growing number of NAIT courses are offered via distance delivery, using traditional paper-based correspondence, computer-managed learning, online lessons, or a combination of methods. Students can earn a variety of credentials in this manner, gaining the practical training that will help them enter a range of promising fields.
Each year, more than 2000 students use NAIT's range of academic upgrading programs to gain the skills they need to enter NAIT, college, or university. Our full-time and part-time options are designed for adults of all ages and academic backgrounds.
