Steamfitter-pipefitters design, fabricate, assemble and repair piping systems that carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel. This work is essential for everything from breweries to power generation to HVAC systems to resource extraction and beyond.
This program will equip you with everything you need to work as a steamfitter-pipefitter. You’ll learn through a combination of on-the-job training and technical instruction. The technical instruction will take place at NAIT, where you’ll learn from our experienced and dedicated teachers, working in shops carefully designed to recreate real-world working conditions.
We'll guide you through the steps to apply on Tradesecrets. Apprenticeship intakes can fill quickly, so apply early to secure your spot and get started.

At NAIT, we honour and acknowledge that the land on which we learn, work and live is Treaty Six territory. We seek to learn from history and the lessons that have come before us, and to draw on the wisdom of the First Peoples in Canada. Only through learning can we move forward in truth and reconciliation, and to a better future together. Read more
