Out of an abundance of caution as NAIT continues to prioritize the health and safety of staff and students, we have decided to offer all lecture and theory classes virtually for the start of winter term.
On-campus labs and shops, where in-person learning is required to meet learning outcomes, will continue with enhanced safety measures, including the use of face shields or approved eye protection and physical distancing wherever possible. Some programs may look to reduce class/cohort sizes.
These measures will be in place until at least January 21.
A message was shared with the NAIT community earlier today, and students will hear from their school or program about any impacts to scheduled on-campus learning as soon as possible.
Over the winter break, NAIT will continue to monitor the progression of the pandemic and will use the first three weeks of January to reassess these measures.
NAIT COVID-19 information and updates can be found at nait.ca/COVID19.
We appreciate the patience and resiliency of the NAIT community, and will keep their health, safety and well-being as our top priorities as we continue to respond to the ever-changing realities of the pandemic.
