
EDMONTON – NAIT will officially welcome Laura Jo Gunter as the polytechnic’s seventh president and CEO at her virtual installation on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 1 p.m.
In her keynote address, Gunter will share her aspirations for the future of NAIT as one of Canada’s leading polytechnics.
The event, which is open to the public, will feature remarks from Alberta Lieutenant Governor, Her Honour, the Honourable Salma Lakhani, Minister of Advanced Education Demetrios Nicolaides as well as City of Edmonton Mayor Don Iveson. There will also be a special ceremonial Honour Drumming performance by local Oskapewis (helper) Monty Sunchild.
