Over 100 virtual booths, access to NAIT experts, presentations and more at NAIT’s Virtual Open House

Interested learners from anywhere in the world will once again be able to attend NAIT’s largest recruitment event thanks to the online delivery of the polytechnic’s virtual open house on Saturday, October 30, 2021. 

Event attendees can visit over 100 virtual booths showcasing NAIT services and programs without leaving home. Programs from all four schools – JR Shaw School of Business, School of Applied Sciences and Technology, School of Health and Life Sciences and School of Skilled Trades – will be represented. Staff from student services and supports such as admissions, student awardss and financial aid, and the Nîsôhkamâtotân Centre (NAIT’s Aboriginal student centre), will also be in attendance to answer questions.  

Attendees can chat directly with program experts, instructors and current students to learn more about their programs of interest. Guests will also be able to watch videos and download and save helpful resources from each program. 

Future learners can get a feel for what it will be like to be on NAIT’s campuses and in learning spaces through the virtual campus tour. Attendees can learn more about campus life and services, and view shops and labs such as the Ambulance Box Simulator (Advanced Care Paramedic), the television and radio studios (Radio and Television), culinary labs (Culinary Arts), and the Petroleum Engineering Technology and Alternative Energy Technology labs.  

Presentations on how to apply, student funding opportunities and attending NAIT as an international student will also take place throughout the day. 

Guests can log in at any time during the event. On-demand content, including videos and downloadable resources will be available to anyone who registers until November 30. 

The event is free and open to anyone interested in learning more about NAIT’s polytechnic education. To access the event, guests must register at nait.ca/openhouse.
