Victor Cui NAIT’s first Executive-in-Residence

NAIT’s JR Shaw School of Business launches the Executive-in-Residence program by welcoming Edmonton Elks president and CEO Victor Cui as the program’s inaugural appointee.   

The newly developed Executive-in-Residence program is designed to create meaningful student and staff experiences with industry leaders who have a track record of building and leading organizations from a wide variety of industry sectors across Alberta, Canada and beyond. Executives will share insightful real life business experiences, including relevant trends and challenges. 

Over the current academic year, Cui will connect with business staff and students through keynote addresses, workshops and mentorships to share the valuable insights and experiences he’s gained throughout his career. He will also work with the JR Shaw School of Business to increase collaboration and awareness among the business community.  

Cui brings a wealth of leadership and business acumen from a global perspective. Prior to taking on his current role with the Edmonton Elks, he co-founded ONE Championships, Asia’s largest sports media company. He worked as a senior executive at ESPN Sports and the PGA Tour. He has been involved in the X Games, Olympic Games and Commonwealth Games.
