NAIT welcomes Jennifer Pascoe as Associate Vice-president, Marketing and Communications

NAIT is pleased to announce Jennifer Pascoe will join the polytechnic as Associate Vice-President, Marketing and Communications.

A trusted leader and accomplished strategist with more than two decades of experience in public relations, communications, marketing, stakeholder relations, and community engagement, Pascoe is deeply committed to collaborative, integrated, and inclusive leadership. She most recently served as vice-president (university relations) at Athabasca University and, before that, associate vice-president (strategic communications) at the University of Alberta. 

Beyond her professional career, Pascoe has dedicated countless hours to mentoring the next generation of leaders and teaching various courses in professional communications and public relations at MacEwan University.

Her academic background includes an undergraduate degree in art history and museum studies (University of Alberta), a post-graduate diploma in public relations (MacEwan University), and graduate research (MA, University of Alberta) focused on how and why scientists use social media to communicate, exploring the interface of communications and technology. 

Pascoe is also actively engaged in the Edmonton community, serving as a Rotarian, a board member with the Terra Centre, and a member of the Women United cabinet for United Way of the Alberta Capital Region. 

In her new role, Pascoe will provide dedicated leadership to NAIT’s marketing and communications efforts, overseeing institutional branding and strategic messaging. Her leadership will play a pivotal role in advancing NAIT’s strategic plan, ensuring clear, effective, and engaging communication with students, staff, industry partners, and the broader community.
