Event designers are responsible for the overall visual aesthetic of an event, but more importantly, they effectively convey the client’s message and weave that message into every moment of an event: from the initial contact with the guests, to the entertainment, the venue, the technical requirements, the decor and even the menu.
This course is designed for event planners and coordinators who operate independently, in companies or in organizations which plan their own events.
This course will provide students with the opportunity to learn the best practices for event design and venue selection and how to use them for maximum effect.
Using a case study, you will discover the client’s message, identify the event issues, select a local venue, and then present a creative event design.
