(Edmonton) - NAIT is making history this month as it hosts the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Men’s Volleyball Championship for the first time ever, welcoming the country’s top collegiate teams to campus. Eight teams from across Canada will travel to Edmonton to compete in the event, which runs on campus March 11–14, 2026.
NAIT came out on top with the successful bid to play host for the national event. It comes after a breakout season for the NAIT Ooks Men's Volleyball Team, who captured both the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Championship and their first-ever CCAA national title in 2023–24.
Championship play begins March 11 and medal matches will take place on March 14. A full schedule of matches is available online.
Tickets will be sold online only, and further information is available on the NAIT Ooks website and the CCAA website.
Media, fans, students, alumni, and community supporters are invited to experience top‑tier national volleyball at NAIT throughout the championship week.
