Materials Engineering Technology

Materials Engineering Technologists play a crucial role on engineering teams as experts in material selection and understanding the integrity of builds and strength of products.

You will learn how to test and analyze materials in our labs. From failure analysis to research and development, you will learn a variety of ways to determine the integrity and characteristics of materials.

Our curriculum is developed in close cooperation with industry leaders, including graduates of this program, to ensure our students have relevant hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge of this field of work. Upon graduation you will be able to provide advice on material selection, asset and integrity inspection, weld inspections, and fabrication.
