NAIT will celebrate the achievements of the graduating class of 2024 during the polytechnic’s annual Convocation ceremonies, taking place June 24, 25 and 26 at the Edmonton Convention Centre.
More than 4,085 graduates from NAIT’s degree, diploma and certificate programs comprise the Class of 2024.
The achievements of these graduates were made evident throughout the year in many ways.

Like Rose, Balfour, Dapat, Mogg and van Genderen, the Class of 2024 are concluding their student journeys at NAIT equipped with the skills and competencies they need to succeed. NAIT graduates are making a meaningful impact in communities across Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and the world.
“Convocation marks an important milestone in the student journey and is a special acknowledgement of the hard work and accomplishments of the Class of 2024.” says Peter Leclaire, NAIT vice-president, academic. “The graduates leave NAIT prepared to enter, or return to, a dynamic and changing workforce, carrying with them the knowledge, aptitude and experiences they gained through their high-quality polytechnic education to make an impact in their chosen field. We are proud of each graduate on this remarkable achievement and the bright futures that lie ahead.”
At convocation, graduates will hear from special guests including the 2024 honorary degree and diploma recipients. Each ceremony will be livestreamed at nait.ca/convocation, so family and friends living anywhere in the world can join the celebration in an accessible way.
